Most of my
publications and presentations deal with evidentiality, ergativity and
other case-marking patterns, grammatical characteristics of modern
Tibetan dialects particularly Kham Tibetan, fieldwork methodology and
issues related to Tibetan language, history and culture.

My approach to discourse and pragmatics is a critical one.
Most of my work deals with discourse phenomena in contemporary Thai
society touching upon such issues as relationship between language and
ideology, ethnic identity and representation of ethnic minorities in
media discourse.
