Work Folders: Please
put your class writing (unseen poem introductions,
creative writing, comparison and contrast, close
reading, etc.) in the brown sleeve (That's your
portfolio container.) in your individual work folder
identified by student ID on the rack in my office by the
end of Monday, December 16, 2019. You can pick them up
along with your last reading response at the beginning
of second semester. Returned work that you can take home
for your files will be outside the brown sleeve
in the same folder. ! Course Evaluation: It has been good "walking" with you this semester. This course is reviewed by the department every academic year to consider changes to the teaching team, coordinators, course structure, content and offering schedule, among other things. Your comments, giving us the learners' perspective, are helpful in making our decisions and policies. Please give feedback on our class this semester to help us learn what worked or didn't work, what new things we could try, and other improvements we can make to this required course for the English major and elective for non-majors. Note that there are two types/channels of feedback you can give in the links below. Thanks!
!
Final Practice: The
final exam practice that we began in class is available
for download on our detailed schedule page for week 17
and here.
Sample responses to "Sea-Fever" are uploaded and linked
to from there.
