รถตู้ชน นักศึกษาดับ 2

เชียงราย – ตำรวจรายงานว่า เมื่อคืนมีนักศึกษา 2 คนเสียชีวิต และอีก 3 คนได้รับบาดเจ็บสาหัส เมื่อรถตู้ที่เดินทางมาจากดอยแม่สะลองซึ่งแล่นมาด้วยความเร็วสูงชนกับรถปิกอัพบรรทุก วัสดุก่อสร้างที่วิ่งสวนมา

เมื่อได้รับรายงานอุบัติเหตุดังกล่าว เจ้าหน้าที่ตำรวจนำโดย ร.ต.อ. สมศักดิ์ ทิพย์เจริญ พร้อมด้วยรถพยาบาล 4 คัน รีบรุดไปยังที่เกิดเหตุ พบเด็กสาว 2 คน แต่งชุดนักศึกษาหมดสติอยู่ในรถตู้และต่อมาเสียชีวิตขณะนำส่งโรงพยาบาล ส่วนนักศึกษาอีก 3 คน ขณะนี้ยังอยู่ในห้องไอซียู

ตำรวจสันนิษฐานว่าอุบัติเหตุครั้งนี้น่าจะเกิดจากความประมาทของคน ขับทั้งสอง อย่างไรก็ดี ร.ต.อ. สมศักดิ์ กล่าวว่าจะสอบสวนถึงสาเหตุที่แท้จริงของอุบัติเหตุครั้งนี้โดยเร็ว

Van crash kills 2 students

Chiang Rai – Two students were killed and three seriously injured last night when the speeding van in which they were traveling from Doi Mae Salong collided with an oncoming pickup carrying construction materials, police reported.

After being informed of the accident, police, led by Pol. Capt. Somsak Tipcharoen along with four ambulances, rushed to the scene. Two girls in university student uniforms were found unconscious in the van and later died on the way to the hospital. Three other students are still in the ICU.

Police suspect carelessness of the two drivers caused the accident. Pol. Capt. Somsak, however, said he will investigate the true reason without delay.

Chiang Rai – A van travelling from Doi Mae Salong at high speed collided with an on-coming pick-up truck carrying construction material, resulting in two university student deaths and three serious injuries last night, police reported.

After receiving the call, police, led by Pol. Capt. Somsak Tipcharoen, with four ambulances, rushed to the scene. They found two young women in university uniforms unconscious in the van. Both died on the way to the hospital. Three other students are in the ICU.

Police suspect the accident is caused by reckless driving of the two motorists. Pol. Capt. Somsak said police are urgently investigating the cause of the accident.
