บ่ายวันที่ 13 ธันวาคมที่ผ่านมา ร.ต.อ. ศุภวิทย์ ไชยประพันธ์ รองสว. สภ. ทุ่งใหญ่ ได้รับแจ้งเหตุคนร้ายใช้อาวุธปืนขนาด .357 บุกเดี่ยวจี้ชิงทรัพย์ร้านทองจิราพร เลขที่ 104/17 ถนนทุ่งใหญ่-พระแสง หมู่ 7 ต.บางรูป อ.ทุ่งใหญ่ ก่อนขู่บังคับให้พนักงานสาวของร้าน 2 คนหยิบสร้อยคอทองคำน้ำหนักเส้นละ 1 บาท 16 เส้นและน้ำหนักเส้นละ 2 บาท อีก 2 เส้น รวม 20 บาท มูลค่ากว่า 4 แสนบาทส่งให้ ก่อนที่คนร้ายจะวิ่งไปขึ้นรถ จยย. ฮอนด้า เวฟ สีดำ-แดง จดจำทะเบียนได้เพียงเลข 26 เพราะคนร้ายใช้ถุงพลาสติกสีดำปกปิดหมวดอักษร ขี่หลบหนีมุ่งหน้าไปทาง อ.พระแสง จ.สุราษฎร์ธานี จากการตรวจสอบกล้องวงจรปิดของทางร้าน สามารถจับภาพคนร้ายขณะก่อเหตุไว้ได้ โดยคนร้ายแต่งกายสวมเสื้อแขนยาวสีเขียวอ่อน กางเกงขายาวสีเขียวอ่อน สวมหมวกแบบชาวนาและใช้ผ้าปิดบังใบหน้า สวมแว่นตาดำ และสวมถุงมือสีดำ ใช้เวลาเข้ามาปฏิบัติการในร้านทองเพียง 1 นาทีเท่านั้น ซึ่งเบื้องต้นตำรวจคาดว่าคนร้ายน่าจะเป็นมืออาชีพ เนื่องจากพฤติการณ์ขณะก่อเหตุลงมืออย่างใจเย็น จึงได้ระดมชุดสืบสวนลงพื้นที่หาข่าวและสอบสวนพยานแวดล้อมเพื่อติดตามจับกุมมาดำเนิน คดีให้ได้โดยเร็วที่สุด

Lone gunman steals 20 baht gold; Police hunt underway

On the afternoon of December 13, 2017, Police Captain Supawit Chaiprapan, sub-inspector (investigation) of Thung Yai Provincial Police Station was notified of a robbery by a lone man at the Jiraporn gold shop, located at 104/17 Thung Yai-Phra Sang road, Village no. 7, Bang Roop sub-district, Thung Yai district. The robber used a .357 mm pistol and forced two saleswomen at gun point to hand over 16 one-baht gold necklaces and a pair of two baht gold necklaces, worth over 400,000 baht in value. The gunman later fled the scene on a black and red Honda Wave motorcycle heading in the direction of Phra Sang district, Surat Thani province. The victims were only able to remember the number 26 from the (motorcycle/ motorbike) license plate as the suspect covered the Thai letters on the plate with a black plastic bag. CCTV footage shows (best-concise)/ footage of CCTV camera captures the armed robber carrying out the heist. The robber had on a long-sleeved light green T-shirt, light green trousers, a farmer’s hat, and a cloth to conceal his face. He also had on black sunglasses and a pair of gloves. He took only a moment to steal from the shop and make off with the ornaments. Initially, the police suspected that the offender was a professional due to his composure during the incident.
