Topics for assessment: sentence boundaries, omitted subjects/objects, topic-comment, person, number, tense/aspect, serial verb construction, passive voice, meanings and uses of it (ex. dummy it, donkey anaphora, pronoun), articles and demonstratives, diction (collocation, register, false friends/cognates), text analyses (text types, audience, medium) Authentic Thai source text preferable (not translated from or informed by English, so language issues unique to Thai can realistically be presented)
